How to find us-
From Burlington Bristol Bridge:
1. From bridge, take Route 130 North for 1/12 miles. Keep Right
2. Turn Right onto Route 541 (High Street)
3. Follow Route 541 for 5 ¼ miles carefully past Burlington Center Mall to
Woodlane Road.
4. Here the street name changes to High Street in Mount Holly. Continue straight on
High Street into Mount Holly. Do not bear right at the 541 bypass.
5. At 3rd traffic light, Mount Holly Meetinghouse is on far left corner of intersection.
6. Turn left at meetinghouse onto Garden Street. Follow about 8 blocks to end at
stop sign.
7. Turn hard right onto Branch Street. Woolman house is brick colonial on left in
second block, with picket fence and small white sign. To park, pass Woolman house,
and turn left at next street, Merritt Drive, and left again into driveway between first
and second houses. Parking lot is at end of gravel driveway.
From Center City Philadelphia
Take 95 north to the Betsy Ross Bridge
Cross the bridge, and then get into the second lane from the right.
Take the second exit on the right after the bridge, to Route 130 North.
Stay in the right lane on route 130, and bear right at the exit after Haines Garden
Supply and just before the first light. Cross at the Yield sign and bear right onto
Branch Pike. (WAWA sign will be on your RIGHT. This is an old traffic circle. If you
miss it, you can go around again).
Take Branch Pike about a mile to the stop sign at end, and turn right onto Riverton
Road.
Follow Riverton Road about ¾ mile, then turn left onto Tom Brown Road (County
Route 614 – this road is on the left only. It does not cross Riverton Road). A small
green sign on the right before Tom Brown Road indicates a left turn will take you to
Mount Holly.
Follow Route 614 for 4 miles. The name changes at the second light to Westfield Road
After 4 miles, Westfield Road joins Route 537 East. Continue straight on 537 East
(Marne Highway) for 71/3 miles.
The Woolman Memorial is on Route 537, but the name changes in Mount Holly to
Washington Street, then to Mill Street, and, when you bear left at the Seven-Eleven by
Woolman Lake, to Branch Street.
The Woolman Memorial is a colonial brick two-story house with a white picket fence
and small white sign -- at 99 Branch Street -- on the Right, about 5 ½ blocks past the
Seven-Eleven.
To park, turn right on Merritt Drive, (5 blocks past the Seven-Eleven) and then left at
the driveway between the first and second houses on the left. Drive all of the way
down the gravel driveway, and park in the parking lot.
Via New Jersey Turnpike from NORTH:
1. TAKE EXIT 7 (not 7A)
2. Keep to LEFT lane after tolls, and bear LEFT onto ramp to Route 206 South.
3. At bottom of ramp, merge onto 206 South.
4. After 7 miles, turn RIGHT at light onto Route 537 (Monmouth Road). The
Woolman House is on Route 537.
5. After 2 miles, proceed STRAIGHT at Woodlane Road intersection.
6. Go about another half mile, keeping LEFT at the Y where Garden Street turns
off.
7. The Woolman House will be on your LEFT in the second block past Garden
Street. It is a two-story brick colonial house with a white picket fence and small
white sign by the road.
8. TO PARK, drive past the house and turn LEFT on Merritt Drive (the next
street, only on the LEFT).
9. Turn LEFT again into the gravel driveway between the first two houses on the
left, and drive to the parking lot at the end.
10. You are here. Walk through the boxwood garden to the brick house.
From Points South via 295 North:
Take exit 45 toward Mount Holly
Ramp will lead right onto the Rancocas-Mount Holly Road (County Route 626).
Follow the Rancocas Road 3.8 miles into Mount Holly
At 4th traffic light, Mount Holy Meetinghouse is on far right corner of intersection.
Continue straight. Street name changes to Garden Street. Follow about 8 blocks to
end at stop sign.
Turn hard right onto Branch Street. Woolman house is brick colonial on left in
second block, with picket fence and small white sign. To park, pass Woolman house,
and turn left at next street, Merritt Drive, and left again into driveway between first
and second houses. Parking lot is at end of gravel driveway.
